Originally from Toronto, Canada, Danah Baron studied art at the University of South Florida where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Art, to be followed by a Masters in Art Education from Florida International University. 

The next several years were spent as a full time art teacher in the public school system, painting, and giving private art classes to children in her Lincoln Road studio in conjunction with the South Florida Art Centre on Miami Beach.

During this time Danah exhibited in several art shows in the community, in coordination with the Espanola Way artist residences, Cameo Theatre art events, and South Florida art galleries. She was commissioned to create murals in clubs and restaurants on South Beach Miami and Holland. Collectors in New York, Miami, London, Japan and Amsterdam have purchased her work.   

Danah continues to teach and create original artwork out of her Amstelveen art studio.
